Yin & YangEarly morning can be a magical time in the garden -- especially after a rain. This morning the flowers on the Hong Kong Orchid tree were so vibrant in spite of the fact that its leaves are starting to brown and the blooms are starting to wilt a bit around the edges.
Contrasts are intense in that early light as well. Here were these two small flowers seemingly woven together -- one with petals covered with droplets and the other nearly bare of them. It's hard to explain that phenomenon but it's impossible not to celebrate the Yin & Yang of it!
