Light Bulbs & Bat Flowers
I was at my local big-box store this week to pick up some light bulbs. Now, standing in front of the light bulb shelves is without question a mind-numbing experience. But there are rewards for slogging through those mundane chores: in this case it involved a walk along the plant aisles before checking out. And there it was -- a Bat Plant -- like nothing I have seen before. Couldn’t resist, so I took it home and spent the afternoon photographing this beguiling natural beauty. Turns out shopping for light bulbs isn’t that bad after all!
