I stepped outside on this foggy morning and saw the bare form of the Crape Myrtle tree hung with stunning ornaments. It was as if a band of artists had come in the night and adorned the branches with garlands of shining beads and strands of the thinnest glass filament. Lit by the mist-soft early light this one could have been a sea bird, a fish, perhaps a reindeer. It was certainly a wonderful way to start the day.
